From the Parade Ground
to the Global Stage
I grew up in a family where service to the nation was not a career — it was a calling. My father, Colonel Amrik Singh, served in the Indian Army and now serves as an Officer in the Sports Ministry. My uncle, Navinder Singh, rose to become Joint Commissioner of Police, Kolkata.
I followed that path — training at RIMC Dehradun, India's branch of the Royal Military College Sandhurst. My batchmates went on to lead India: Army Officers, IAS officers, IPS officers. The same discipline, the same network, the same standard of excellence.
I chose a different battlefield — building a global luxury hair brand with the same precision, integrity, and strategic vision that RIMC instilled in all of us. RemyPatra is not just a business. It is a mission.

Our family has served India with distinction across the military and police forces. Colonel Amrik Singh (Father) served in the Indian Army and now serves as an Officer in the Sports Ministry. Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) Dehradun was established in 1922 as the Indian counterpart of the Royal Military College Sandhurst, UK. It is the only institution in India that directly feeds into the Indian Military Academy and has produced Generals, Admirals, Air Marshals, IAS officers, IPS officers, and heads of state. When RIMC cadets graduate, they carry a network that spans every institution of power in India — and through Sandhurst, a network that spans the world.
