What the industry markets as 'Russian' or 'Slavic' hair is primarily sourced as raw bundles from Middle Eastern markets. The natural wavy and curly texture, fine diameter, and light natural colour are characteristic of this region's hair — not exclusively Eastern Europe.

The Processing Story
Raw bundles are collected, sorted by texture and colour, then processed — bleached to achieve the signature light tones, or kept natural for the dark wavy varieties. Most brands do this processing in undisclosed facilities. We do it in India and verify it in Warsaw.
